Co-directors Tom Kremer and Rodrigo Nuñez worked to create a script that incorporated both English and Spanish dialogue for the actors. The cast consists of Binghamton University students and students from DUOC to help make this language concept work. This production is staged in a way that does not rely on subtitles or straight translations, which makes this an entirely unique adaptation. Kremer initially worked with Binghamton University Alumna Dallas DeFee ('09) to create this bi-lingual script starting in 2012.
Once this is performed on the Binghamton University Stage; Directors, Stage Managers and Cast will all travel to Santiago Chile to perform it at the DUOC campus this summer. This production is part of an on-going relationship with the two Directors, who help bring two cultures together through the art and practice of theatre. Be sure to add the BingTheatre Dept to stay updated on the production's progress!
