ENGINET

Graduate Distance Learning 

Take engineering and computer science courses without ever attending class on campus though the Watson School's graduate distance learning program, EngiNet.

An extension of our traditional excellent academic offerings, EngiNet is designed for students wanting the same challenging courses and the same prestigious degree from Binghamton University, but seeking an alternative to the typical on-campus experience.

Lectures are recorded live on-campus and digitally encoded so our distance learning students can view material and stream lectures at times most convenient for them. Students must still meet certain course deadlines for assignments and exams, but the flexibility to continue with normal work and personal schedules enables many students to take courses when they otherwise would not be able to fit school into an already busy schedule.

Courses are offered by every Watson School department and vary by semester so check course offerings to see what available.

If you have a Bachelor of Science degree in any field, you can earn a Master of Engineering degree in electrical and computer engineering or systems science and industrial engineering completely online.


Graduate School Application Deadlines

If you are interested in working towards a degree and you have missed the matriculated deadline for admissions, non-matriculated forms can be processed at anytime during the course registration window. (Students would still need to apply to the graduate school to enter a program of study. Only two courses taken prior to matriculation will count towards a degree).

Students who were registered during the last semester are able to pre-register for the next semester during the pre-registration window by calling the EngiNet office (800-478-0718).
