Internships and Work Abroad

As you enter the workforce, a large portion of US-based jobs will require international experience and/or a demonstrated willingness to participate in the global workforce. Learning about cultures, people, and languages first-hand is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences a student can undertake.

The lessons learned from an international internship will provide lessons that will impact your personal and professional life and make you stand out in a competitive workforce. Although we have relationships that provide internship experiences for our students, we also encourage our students to research and find internship opportunities that fit their career goals and strategy.

This Global Engagement website, along with our Career Connections website, is designed to provide you a starting point for your search.

Please keep in mind that after you explore your options on this website, you should seek assistance from both International Career and Alumni Connections (Amanda Bailor) and the Office of International Programs.
