When you conclude your internship, be sure that you've had at least one performance review with your supervisor. If you have a longer internship (over 2 months) you may want to ask for more than one review to help you get feedback about your work and to document your experience for future job interviews.
Now is the time to update your resume to include all of the wonderful experiences you had during your internship. You can now talk about how adaptable you are, how you've needed to find unique solutions to problems, and your cross-cultural communication skills. Remember that the Watson and Alumni Connections résumé guide is here to help you!
Make sure to connect with any of the friends, family, alumni, past colleagues, or acquaintances that helped connect you to the internship or work abroad experience. Tell them how much you appreciated the help they provided you in having such a valuable experience!
