Campus Recreation

WE CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO ARRIVE AT BINGHAMTON!

Here are some of the many ways you can get involved on campus and in our community:

B-Engaged

STAY IN THE KNOW! CHOOSE FROM THE LIST OF EVENT HAPPENINGS ON B-ENGAGED.

B-Engaged connects every Binghamton student to what's going on all over campus! Don't miss out on exploring hundreds of University-recognized clubs and organizations, like Cheese Club, KnitWits, Relay for Life or Active Minds; and memorable events, like University Fest or the Green Day Friday Fashion Show. Once you get to campus, you'll also discover worthwhile extra-curricular programs, like Conversation Pairs, the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), and more daily happenings.

To get started, log in at https://bengaged.binghamton.edu or download the free B-Engaged app, called "CampusGroups."

Campus Recreation

Head down to the East Gym and learn about Campus Recreation's group classes, swimming pool and open-recreation schedule.

University Fest

Attend University Fest, a free welcome event happening 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26. Find inflatables, local vendors, food, music and fun in the middle of campus. Over 250 student organizations will be tabling; come learn more about getting involved on campus!

Fine Arts

For our incoming Bearcats who enjoy the arts, there are plenty of opportunities for you! Enrich your Binghamton experience through art, cinema, music and theater.

Center for Civic Engagement

Volunteer on campus or in the greater Binghamton area. The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) works with the local community to provide opportunities to volunteer and make a difference.

Explore Binghamton

Grab a friend and explore the area. Use your student ID to ride the Blue Buses or city buses for free. Participate in the First Friday Art Walk, ice skate at the SUNY Broome Ice Center, go to a Rumble Ponies baseball game, visit the Broome County Regional Farmers Market or check some of the area's great local restaurants!
