Connect: Binghamton in the City

Save the date: Jan. 7-11, 2019

Although Binghamton in the City takes place during winter recess, it's one of the most important weeks of the academic year. We're leveraging the power of Binghamton University's alumni network to provide students with a number of career exploration opportunities.

Alumni will host students at their workplaces, and will be happy to discuss what they do and how to break into a desired career field. The capstone event of the week is Metro Connections Night Jan. 8. This is not a job fair; rather, it's a forum for conversations. Students should dress sharp, bring good questions and be ready to chat with their choice of more than 130 alumni representing a variety of fields.

We'll also have a panel discussion for parents Jan. 8, so they can learn how to help their students get the most of the Binghamton University experience to be poised for success in the real world.

Registration for 2019 Binghamton in the City activities will open on hireBING in November. Students, be sure to check this page for updates and we'll also share information with you via B-Engaged.
