How we met: alumni couples share fond memories
Ask a couple how they met, and you're almost guaranteed to hear a good story. With Valentine's Day this month, we put a call out on social media asking our alumni couples to share their stories with us. We share some here in Alumni Connect.
Meet alumni, make a difference
Spring is just around the corner. Yes, in some areas (like Binghamton) that's hard to believe, but as you start to think about activities to celebrate the return of spring, make plans to spend a few hours with your fellow alumni in late April. Good people will be doing good works.
Regional chapter spotlight
Trivia, a distillery tour and a Bearcat gamewatch party were some of the cool alumni events we offered during the last few weeks. See what our chapters have been up to, and learn about experiences we're planning for you in the near future.

Jun Jeong ’14 earned a degree in political science with a minor in health and wellness studies, and intended to become a lawyer. The plan started to change when he picked up an oar as part of the Crew Club during freshman year.
Anonymous donor enables institute launch
Binghamton University has established a new, interdisciplinary Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention (I-GMAP) with the support of an anonymous donor and facilitated by Owen Pell ’80, LLD ’11.
Help us enroll the best and brightest for the Class of 2021
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions has sent out acceptances and now welcomes your help in showing our admitted students why Binghamton would be the right fit for them. As an Admissions Alumni Volunteer, you can reach out to admitted students with an encouraging email, or talk to these bright individuals at a college fair in your region. You can make a difference for a student who's trying to make a very important decision.
