Class of 1961 celebrates milestone
Alumni gathered in Manhattan in late June to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their graduation from Harpur College. The event was an opportunity to see classmates whom they hadn't seen in 50 years, reflect on campus life in the Quonset hut era and talk about life and career accomplishments.

Members of the Tau Alpha Upsilon Alumni Society gathered at a reunion in Binghamton that commemorated the fraternity's 50th anniversary. Two things stand out for members of Binghamton's oldest fraternity: lifelong friendships and a commitment to give back.
JUMP Nation hosts summer reunion
The Juvenile Urban Multicultural Program (JUMP Nation) hosted its 20th Annual Summer Reunion in Brooklyn, with a turnout of approximately 50 attendees, including protégés, mentors, hosts, family members, general body members and alumni.

Think Binghamton advocacy update
The state legislature passed Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s NYSUNY 2020 legislation. The bill includes a rational tuition plan that will allow SUNY campuses to raise in-state tuition $300 annually for five years. Passage of NYSUNY 2020 facilitates future planning and long-term investment.
