Day Friday, February 28
Time 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
Where LN-1324C

Join the Center for Civic Engagement for this workshop reviewing a wide range of publishing opportunities for generating and disseminating scholarship on community engaged learning and research. Publicly engaged scholarship, for example, can range from research on experiential learning pedagogies to discipline specific community-based research assessing a civic challenge. A key focus will be on planning strategies for establishing meaningful and reciprocal community partnerships while walking through a step-by-step process for setting course and research project goals and objectives whose outcomes are measurable, assessable and publishable. In addition, guidance for designating community based learning courses through the Banner registration system and a review of CCE Faculty Academic Support Initiatives (e.g., Fellows Program and Teaching Grants) will be discussed.

Register online at bit.ly/cltspring2020 by Wednesday, Feb. 26. You will need to log into BMail. Light refreshments will be provided.
