Supervisory Training: ADA Accommodation Requests for Employees (via Zoom)

Day Thursday, March 30
Time 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Where via Zoom

Over the past few years, the workplace has changed its response to meeting the needs of employees with disabilities. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, one in five adults will experience a mental illness each year. Based on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), supervisors and managers need to know how to respond to accommodation requests and how to interact with employees if a disability is disclosed (or not disclosed). In accordance to policy, this training will provide participants with best practices and procedures to support employees with disabilities to improve accessibility. Faculty and staff managers, chairs and directors are encouraged to attend.

Registration is required at https://binghamton.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJAlcOGtqT0uGNx-WA0TdpVLunzvOJaTpO_R.
