An Anderson Center favorite returns! The world-renowned Russian National Ballet was founded in Moscow during the transitional period of Perestroika in the late 1980s, when the great dancers and choreographers of the Soviet Union were exercising their newfound creative freedom by starting new companies that merged classical Russian ballet with modern dance developments from around the world. Led by Elena Radchenko since 1994, the company upholds the grand national tradition of ballet while enlightening, inspiring and entertaining audiences of all ages.
