Background

Emre Parlak is a graphic designer and lecturer currently based in Binghamton, N.Y. With more than 10 years of professional experience, he tailors project-specific design concepts across various platforms, primarily on visual identity, print and digital design.

Parlak gave lectures at Yeditepe, Sabancı and Ozyegin University in Istanbul, and recently joined Binghamton as a lecturer in 2022. He also works independently and within Fevkalade, a visual design studio he co-founded in 2009. He is passionate about typographic perfection, grid systems and color interactions. Simplicity is the key element of his design philosophy; it comes together with functionality to make the work both timeless and strong.
