The B-Healthy Committees
The Healthy Campus Initiative has been charged by the Vice President of Student Affairs and is supervised by the Assistant Vice President for Health and Wellness. The structure of B-Healthy consists of the following subgroups:
The Executive Board consists of members of senior management in Student Life and Academic Affairs, as well as campus leaders in health and wellness focused departments. The Executive Board provides strategic direction for integrating the Healthy Campus tenants into Binghamton University’s educational mission by developing policies and programs to enhance the academic environment. The Executive Board is chaired by the Assistant Vice President for Health and Wellness. Membership includes: Vice President for Student Affairs, Vice President for Operations, Associate VP and Dean of Students, Provost’s academic designee , Director of Health Promotion & Prevention Services and the Steering Committee Chair.

The Leadership Team is chaired by the Assistant Vice President for Health and Wellness. The Leadership Team provides oversight for and may share the committee work among team members. This allows everyone to stay current with the work of the committees and enhances initiatives through expert input.

It consists of representatives from numerous departments and programs and reflects our cross-divisional collaborations. The chair of the Steering Committee is appointed by the Executive Board.
