Head to Highland Park

Highland Park is the place to be every Fourth of July. Not only is there an awesome fireworks show at night, but there are events held all day in anticipation! Parades, live music, rides, a petting zoo and carnival games are all waiting for you here.

Attend a Rumble Ponies game

Former Major Leaguer Baseball star Darryl Strawberry will make an appearance on July 2. After the Rumble Ponies play the Harrisburg Senators on July 3, marvel at the team's largest fireworks show of the year, Bing, Bang, Boom, and enjoy a picnic!

Experience Pops in the Park

The Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra is also performing at Highland Park. If this doesn't sound like your kind of music, don't count this out! They'll be playing scenes from Harry Potter and West Side Story! *fan girl screams*

Kick it at Tioga Downs

If live music, fireworks and food is your thing... wait, that's everyone's thing. 38 Special will be performing, and all ticket proceeds go to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group. Stick around after the concert for fireworks and a buffet!

Take a road trip to Pennsylvania

Montrose, Pa. is known for its huge extravangza! You'll have the best day with the "Fun Run," 5K, 10K, pancake breakfast, parade, food sampling, and -- of course -- fireworks! You can't miss out!
