With 2018 approaching, join us as we reflect on the past 12 months. We compiled some of the year's biggest events, highlights, scenery and more to take you through 2017 -- one photo at a time.

Free graduation photos were provided in May as a gift to seniors from the Binghamton University Alumni Association.
From May 19-21, Binghamton University students became alumni as they walked across the commencement stage.
The Koffman Southern Tier Incubator celebrated its grand opening on June 1. The incubator features 35,000 square-feet of offices, high-tech labs, wet labs, dry labs and common areas, as well as co-working spaces built to provide a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and startup companies.

Students were welcomed back to campus on August 21 with live music, amusement rides and giveaways at the Harpur Quad Fountain for the fifth annual Shindig at the Fountain.
After years of planning and design, Binghamton unveiled its $70 million Smart Energy Building on August 31. Stan Whittingham, distinguished professor of chemistry and materials science, was recognized by President Harvey Stenger and Provost Donald Nieman during the ceremony.
Students in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences class of 2021 -- the school's first class -- participated in the inaugural White Coat Ceremony on September 9.
In honor of the victims of 9/11, members of the Binghamton University College Republicans and the Binghamton Review planted a memorial flag garden on the spine.
After several years, Binghamton University brought back the Homecoming Fireworks show.
The Binghamton University Theatre Department presented a new take on a classic musical in late October with its production of "The Wizard of Oz."
Over 3,000 fans packed the Events Center on November 17 as the wrestling team opened its 2017-18 season, hosting defending NCAA champs Penn State. For the second consecutive season, Binghamton captured the America East regular-season softball championship in May.
#PumpkinSpiceBing was in full effect with this year's stunning fall foliage.
Talk about a "Rockstar!" Selling out in under 48 hours, it was a fall concert to remember, thanks to Post Malone.
Alyssa Mustafa is a junior in the School of Management, studying marketing. She spends her free time running around in circles and jumping in the sand as a member of the women's track and field team.
