Hike the Nature Preserve

Enjoy the beautiful changing leaves (and get some great new content for Insta) right in Binghamton University’s backyard! With over 180 acres to explore, you’re bound to have some fall fun in the Nature Preserve.

Go apple picking

Nothing says fall quite like farm-fresh apples. Go pick your own and bring home a taste of the season. Some local favorite spots include Apple Hills and Lone Maple Farm. The Cider Mill is also a great destination for pre-picked apples, pumpkins and tons of other delicious fall goodies (be sure to order a cider slushie)!
