The Ultimate Binghamton University Visit Checklist

Planning a visit to Binghamton University? We’ve put together this checklist to plan your trip including lodging, restaurants, activities and more, so when you arrive here you’re guaranteed to have a fun and productive stay!!

Hotels

There are many different hotel and motel options to provide a comfortable stay during your trip. You can stay in the heart of downtown or closer to campus on the Vestal Parkway.

We totally understand that once you see your residence hall you may want to buy a few things to make move-in easier! The good news is that Vestal is home to many major retailers to fulfill your shopping needs. The Shoppes at Vestal, Parkway Plaza and Town Square Mall are all central hubs for one-stop shopping. Binghamton University Bookstore

Looking for a Binghamton t-shirt or sweatshirt? Stop by the Binghamton University Bookstore to stock up on your favorite Bing apparel. Located on the second floor of The Union, the Bookstore also carries laptop sleeves, mugs, ID holders and a whole lot more!

Other excellent clothing options downtown include the alumni-owned Muckles and Boscov’s.

Parks

Have some time to spare? This is a beautiful time of year to go for a hike! Right on campus is the stunning Nature Preserve. Check out this full list of great parks that have trails for all levels of hikers.

There are plenty of recreational activities to enjoy in Binghamton during the summer. You can go to a minor league baseball game, visit the Ross Park Zoo, or see stunning artwork dotnwon First Fridays, to name just a few options.
