8 Things to Do in Binghamton This Valentine’s Day
Posted by Nicole El Chami on February 9, 2022
Whether you’re spending the day with your friends or your sweetheart, there’s no reason not to spread the love this Valentine’s Day. Here are a few things you can do to celebrate in Binghamton this year!
Stop by Chroma Cafe and Bakery and treat yourself to a Valentine’s Day sweet! Among the Valentine’s Day specials are freshly baked cupcakes and conversation heart sugar cookies, as well as Oreo truffles and chocolate-covered strawberries. If you're stopping in to pick up sweets for your special someone, take yourself on a lunch date while you're there! I love the paninis– there are so many options to choose from and all of their bread is baked in house.
No date? No problem.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your friends this year! Head down to 205 Dry on Saturday, Feb. 12 from noon-3 p.m. for a galentine’s brunch! Treat yourself to delicious sandwiches and desserts, and stay around for a guest appearance by Cupid.
Looking for a dinner reservation?
Head to 205 Dry on Valentine’s Day for dinner service from 5-11 p.m. A Valentine’s Day specials menu will be offered, alongside their classic dinner options! Call to make a reservation.
Dine for a deal
Make a reservation at Social on State for dinner on Sunday, Feb. 13 or Monday, Feb. 14. Their special Valentine’s Day menu offers an appetizer, entree and dessert for $50.
Take an art class for date night
Want to let out your inner artist with your special someone? Schedule a date for paint night at Uncorked Creations. Learn to create a painting where you complete one half and your partner completes the other on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m., or Monday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m.
Paint matching mugs with someone special
Whether you have a boo or a best friend, make a matching mug with someone you love at Uncorked Creations this Valentine’s Day. The class will be offered on Monday, Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. A craft and going home with a new coffee mug? What more could you ask for?
Watch a game show for a good cause
Join the Juvenile Urban Multicultural Program for their annual game show fundraiser, Love Games 2022, on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 7-10 p.m. JUMP is a program which aims to decrease high school dropout rates while increasing enrollment in institutions of higher learning.
Try something new
Make your Valentine’s Day dinner reservations at Lost Dog Café to try their newly featured menu items on Friday, Feb. 11 or Saturday, Feb. 12. I know I'll be stopping in to try their Spicy Seafood Risotto– I hope it's as good as their rigatoni alla vodka!
