Spring Job & Internship Fair Rescheduled for March 20, 2014
The Career Development Center (CDC) is pleased to announce that the rescheduled Spring 2014 Job & Internship Fair will take place on March 20, 2014, in the University Union, Mandela Room from 11:00 to 3:30 pm. Representatives from for-profit, government, and non-profit organizations will be available to speak with students regarding both full-time employment and internship opportunities. Students are encouraged to review the list of registered employers in advance, and conduct research on those employers they're interested in.
Students seeking jobs and internships are reminded that in addition to attending the Spring 2014 Job & Internship Fair, there are a number of ways to secure such opportunities. Students should utilize eRecruiting, and be conducting their own research to find opportunities through various websites and personal networking. The CDC will also sponsor additional job and internship fairs later this semester. On March 27, a Virtual Fair, hosted by the University at Albany, University at Buffalo, Binghamton University, and Stony Brook University, will connect both employers and graduate schools to students of all majors. On April 9, students are invited to attend the Upstate New York Tech Career Connection at Ithaca College, where many Central New York STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) organizations will be present.
