Link'd In is a social group for typical and special needs individuals age 16-25. We are looking for new members to join the program. Typical students would be those who are interest in meeting new friends, or need a supportive social experience.
We are specifically looking to invite students of all abilities who could use a positive connection in the community. The program will pair typical and individuals with special needs, and support them as they work together to identify common interests and activities.
The group meets bi-weekly at the Roberson (on Front street in Binghamton) and has a variety of activities depending on who is attending and what the students plan. The activities focus on self advocacy, friendships, communication and accessing community resources.
