Project Description
GIA Company is a startup minority owned business located in Scranton, PA. Our mission is to assist Christian mothers achieve success as mothers and as business women. We offer child care; baby products; and business resources & tips to grow a business. We are seeking bright, motivated individuals to start immediately. Please state your preference in working in a particular domain of our business 1. educational/family oriented and/or 2. business startups. Job Description may include but is not limited to: Updating and creating marketing plans and strategies Write content for a variety of printed and electronic marketing materials, including business memos, advertisements, flyers, magazine articles, and web copy. Manage social media outreach including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, newsletter postings and more Coordinate the design and production of marketing materials including digital banners, emails, videos, website elements and traditional flyers, brochures and other printed material Writing press releases and manage their schedule and distribution Conduct research on current trends of marketing e.g. social media Monitor and analyze program results of blogs and social media Work directly with Owner on strategic marketing projects Track followers through Google analytics data to gain insights into program performance Writing blogs Assisting and appearing at networking events Answering phones Data Entry Skills & Knowledge CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE: Pursuing a degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, PR or related field preferred Advanced proofreading and editing ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be friendly, organized, honest, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic Data Proficiency in Microsoft Office, online search engines, and web-based applications Detail oriented and highly organized, quick learner

As participants could come into contact with children at the facility, a background check is required. This includes child abuse clearance, criminal record & FBI fingerpring, A person who by law cannot be around children would not be accepted. Please include college status and GPA
