Project Description
Our training programs and seminars include a variety of delivery methods, and range from conference planning to online courses for professionals and the community, to summer youth programs, and professional trainings designed specifically for corporate customers. Students interested in outreach, marketing, event or conference planning, or program development and training, will be interested in this internship. We encourage interns to pursue seminar markets such as youth, entrepreneurs, college students, law enforcement, artists, etc. An intern may also focus on grants research. We are receptive to students focusing on their area of interest and need. Previously, interns have conducted needs analysis and qualitative and quantitative research and focus groups. Interns may also pursue alternative delivery methods and marketing. Some interrns may be interested in the administrative side of seminar planning and maintain mailing lists, social networking sites and a website.
