POP implements relatively large, interactive science after-school programs for K-5 students in local schools. We visit each school several times, each week with a different science topic, and our BU student volunteers present dozens of exciting and fun science demos to enthusiastic audiences. This is a fun and rewarding community service opportunity, and a science background is NOT required to volunteer: Training, T-shirt, and transportation are provided. Our only criteria is that you like kids!

Each semester, we visit three schools six times, for a total of 18 programs! We also participate in several other campus and community events each semester, as well.
