OASIS After School Program (Non-profit)
355 Riverside Drive | Johnson City, NY 13790   [view map]
The OASIS After School Program was established in 2006 and provides after school services to disenfranchised teens in Endicott. We offer nutritional snacks, tutoring support, civic engagement projects, and extra-curricular enrichment activities based on student interests in a safe environment during the critical hours of 3 to 6 pm. Our mission is to encourage and empower local teens to maximize their abilities and strengths through quality social, educational and civic engagement opportunities.

Volunteers from BU have a tradition of excellent rapport with program staff and participants, notably from the Ultimate Frisbee team and the Center for Civic Engagementís own initiative, Bridging the Digital Divide. We seek compassionate, energetic volunteers to engage our participants in any sports-based, academic enrichment, or civic engagement activities. Typically, volunteering through an organization already established on campus yields the best results, although we also welcome any individuals who desire to assist the program with their time and talents.
