CCE Community Schools initiative - volunteer in local schools
The Community Schools and Youth Programs initiative is a partnership between Binghamton University, the Broome County Promise Zone and local school districts that provides opportunities for Binghamton University students to volunteer and intern with local youth and have a positive impact on the community.
The Community Schools initiative is now recruiting interns and volunteers for the spring 2018 semester. For a complete list of opportunities, visit the Community Schools website. New programs include:

Health and Food
CCE Community Health Engagement Opportunities (CHEO) Program
CHEO is a community health initiative started by the CCE with the goals of expanding access to community-based learning experiences for students interested in health-related academic fields and providing University support to the numerous community organizations already working to provide health-related resources and assistance to the Binghamton and Broome County communities.
