Project Description
Student will assist the Executive Director in the writing of a grant to obtain funds for the purpose of digitizing, cataloging and uploading local history materials owned by the library. Student will receive training from partner organizations in the use of digitization technology and cataloging standards. Student will assist the Executive Director with training other volunteers in such. Student must have an interest in the preservation of historical materials. Attention to detail and able to work independently are a must. Preference given to student interested in archives, library science, anthropology, museum studies or history.
