Thomas Quain

Background

Thomas Quain's research focuses on approaches to advising students, including first-generation, non-traditional, academically at-risk, students from low SES, etc. He is interested in designing an online student success course for SUNY Broome that would equip first-year students with information they need for course selection, career exploration, financial aid regulations, campus activities, time management, etc.

Quain is co-chair and academic advisor in the SUNY Broome's Department of Academic Advising.
