Students can meet one-on-one with Fleishman Center staff through Walk-In consulting sessions or scheduled appointments. Additionally, students can attend a number of group consulting appointments and events to further engage in their professional development and career exploration. Topics for consulting sessions and programming include, but are not limited to:
- Resume, CV and cover letter review
- Major and occupational information and consultation
- Internship and job search
- Credit-bearing internship opportunities through CDCI
- Interviewing advice and Mock Interviews
- Networking and LinkedIn
- Graduate school planning and application material review
- Accepting/declining a job offer
- International opportunities
Walk-in Consulting
Daily walk-in career consulting is available for students to meet individually with Fleishman Center staff to discuss career-related topics throughout the fall and spring semesters. Individual consulting time is reserved for current undergraduate and graduate students, and Binghamton University alumni who have graduated within the past six months. Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are generally 20 minutes in length. View current walk-in hours here.

Students can shedule private 30-minute appointments to meet with Fleishman Center staff and discuss any career-related topics or issues. Appointments can be scheduled by logging in to hireBING and scheduling an appointment based on consultant availability and topic.

Faculty and staff may utilize the print resources available in the Fleishman Center's Career Resource Area (UU-133), the extensive resources on the Fleishman Center's website, and may attend all programs and events. The University provides separate career coaching services to faculty and staff through certified career coach, John Wojcio (jwojcio@binghamton.edu). -
Community Members
Individuals not affiliated with the University may utilize the print resources available in the Career Resource Area (UU-133), the extensive resources on the Fleishman Center website, and may attend most Fleishman Center programs and events on a space-available basis.
