As the parent of a current Binghamton University student, you're welcome to participate in NYC CONNECT. Learn how to assist your son or daughter in taking advantage of high-impact learning experiences so they can obtain an internship or job.
Staff members from several University departments will discuss the multitude of resources they provide for students. You can also meet parent leaders who will share their perspectives as both parents and employers.

This free program is designed to provide information on how you, as a parent or family member, can help guide your student to gain the skills and experiences necessary to transition from Binghamton University to a successful internship or career. You will learn how to assist your student in taking advantage of the high-impact learning experiences Binghamton offers to benefit their credentials and resume. Representatives from several University offices, including Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development, The Graduate School, Education Abroad, Undergraduate Research and the Center for Civic Engagement will share their insights and expertise, as well as give parents an opportunity to ask questions.
A reception with light refreshments begins at 6:30 p.m., when you can meet members of our Parents Leadership Council (PLC) and University staff. The panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m.
