If you could choose one word or phrase to describe how you work, what would that word be and why?

How do you keep track of all of your work? Do you use any apps? Gadgets? Other solutions?

I use apps such as Mac Notes, Calendar, and other Google gadgets as well.

Are you an Apple person or a PC person? Both? Why?

I am definitely an Apple person.

Describe your workspace, either at home, work, or both. What is it like?

My office is full of light. Windows and nice views outside are very important to me since I can get inspired and feel the energy to work.

How do you recharge yourself when you’ve been doing a lot of work?

I do yoga, I take long walks in the nature, I meditate, I listen to music, and chat with friends.

Are you a night owl or an early riser? Briefly describe.

I am both depending on the days of the week and on the tasks I need to accomplish--deadlines, etc.

What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else? Is there something in everyday life that you find yourself being the go-to person for?

I am not sure whether I am better than anyone else (that's a bit presumptuous to say), but I am good at taking care of my students at an individual level.

What are you currently reading?

I am reading books on language and migration.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received about learning and teaching?

The best advice was given to me when I was working in other universities, and it was about paying attention to students' learning in individualized ways, thinking about their particular needs and trying to understand their interests.
