Background
Nyra Serrant (she/her) was born and raised in the Commonwealth of Dominica and migrated to the United States in 2012. Nyra earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Binghamton University and most recently graduated from Hunter College with her Master’s degree in Social Work. Nyra is a fierce advocate for increasing access to mental health services and fighting stigma in underserved populations. She provides individual counseling with special clinical interest in multicultural and intersectional identities, family issues, as well as depression.
