When you graduate from Binghamton University's Decker School of Nursing, you join the nearly 6,000 men and women around the world who call themselves Decker nurses. Our alumni are well-established in the profession as leading clinicians, researchers, educators and administrators, and they are eagerly recruited by employers across the globe.
Decker boasts high employment rates for our BS and MS graduates, with many alumni taking positions in healthcare agencies such as Albany Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, Lourdes Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Mount Sinai Hospital, Stony Brook University Hospital, SUNY Upstate Medical University, UHS and University of Rochester Medical Center. Recent DNP graduates have continued at government and educational institutions. Many of our PhD alumni have obtained positions in academia at acclaimed universities and research institutions, while others are pioneers in research, development and practice initiatives.
Binghamton's undergraduate nursing programs serve as an excellent starting point for graduate school. Many of our students choose to remain at Binghamton for their graduate studies and with several graduate program options it is easy to see why.
