Frances Munroe is a clinical assistant professor at the Decker School of Nursing. She taught part-time at The George Washington University in the FNP program since finishing her DNP degree there in May 2014. Her previous teaching experience was at Binghamton University in the DSON Graduate Nurse Practitioner program from 1994–2009 and Mansfield University from 1990–1992.
Munroe has worked as an FNP in the areas of primary care, family practice, occupational health and pediatrics. She is nationally board certified by ANCC as an FNP and by ABOHN as an occupational health nurse specialist. Her current clinical practice is at the Lourdes Primary Care office in Vestal, N.Y.
