Background

Titilayo Okoror examines community and institutional barriers to primary and secondary prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases among continental Africans, African Americans and Africans in the diaspora. Her research entails engaging community stakeholders and members in designing, implementing and evaluating culturally acceptable programs for health promotion and disease prevention.
