Corrine's professional interests include ELL tutoring pedagogy and materials development, and the use of technology and linguistic corpora in language learning curriculum and materials. In addition, she is exploring psycho- and neurolinguistics in language acquisition, and cultural power structures in academic language development.
Corrine has presented at TESOL, Illinois TESOL-BE, NYS-TESOL, and SUNYCIT on the use of technologies, including COCA, in the language learning classroom. She recently presented at the Western NY Service Learning Conference on volunteerism as an icebreaker in the ELL classroom.
When she is not teaching, Corrine writes young adult fiction, hikes, and practices yoga, and experiments in the kitchen. Corrine is currently pursuing an MS in Student Affairs Administration.
