Linda's professional interests include the learning centered classroom; authentic student engagement; the impact of group dynamics on learning outcomes; apperception in cross-cultural contexts; and the analysis of language features affecting pronunciation development.
Before coming to Binghamton University, Linda taught in Thailand, Indonesia, and Mexico as well as the U.S. She has presented at Thai-TESOL, led numerous teacher training workshops in Thailand, and has made contributions to international development through the Peace Corps.
Linda's personal interests revolve around church activities, cooking Thai food, and exploring state/botanical parks. She often hosts informal gatherings of international students, their parents and other friends to share a meal and a pot of tea.
