The Binghamton University Foundation was established to raise funds that further the purpose and mission of Binghamton University. Foundation affiliates are formed to support the strategic vision of the board of directors and the president of the University. Each affiliate requires a majority of the board of directors from the Foundation to be directors of the new entity, further exemplifying their commitment to Binghamton.
