Requirements

Please read the application carefully and follow ALL instructions.

Geographic Limitations: Grants are limited to projects directly assisting residents of Broome County and contiguous New York counties.

All proposal submissions should include the following:

  • Application form
  • Narrative form
  • Attachments (listed below)

Proposal application and narrative form:

  • Type or print clearly

Attachments:

  • Project budget. Include in-kind contributions and other resources available for the project (one page maximum).
  • From community organization:
    • IRS Tax Exemption Certificate/Letter
    • Current year’s budget or summary (two page maximum)
    • Most recent audited financial statement
    • Most recent annual report
    • Current list of board of directors, with affiliations and a meetings schedule
    • Name and brief description of role of any staff providing supervision for the project.

DO NOT INCLUDE ANY OTHER MATERIALS with the application.
