Learning Outcomes for General Education
Prior to the 2018-19 academic year, General Education assessment was based on the periodic collection of course portfolios, a process facilitated by the Provost's Office.
For 2018-19 and 2019-20, we are using a survey-based assessment process rather than collecting course portfolios.
The following reports have been prepared by the University Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, based on a review of the submitted course portfolios:
- A - Aesthetics
- C - Composition
- FL1, FL2, FL3 - Foreign Language
- G - Global Interdependencies
- H - Humanities
- L - Laboratory Science
- M - Mathematics/Reasoning
- N - Social Science
- O - Oral Communication
- P - Pluralism in the U.S
- YSB - Physical Activity/Wellness
Following is a schedule indicating the categories which will be assessed:
Surveys have been submitted for the following categories; reports based on these surveys
