Background

Gülden Olgun focuses on gender, identity and homeland in film, literature, and culture. She teaches all levels of German curriculum and content courses in English, which are cross-listed in the departments of Comparative Literature, Turkish Studies and Cinema.

Recently taught courses and seminars include: Minority and Migrant Voices in Popular Culture; Turkish-German Culture; Literature and Society; TV Series; and German language
