On weekends you can often find me: cuddling with my dogs, doing something active in the outdoors, reading, writing, and spending time with the people I love.
You might be surprised to know: I love tapping maple trees and making my own maple syrup.
I can’t imagine life without: noodles and great stories.
The film that comes to mind as my favorite is: I’ve never been able to choose between Homeward Bound, The Sandlot, and Dumb and Dumber.
The best part of being an advisor is: being an advocate for students.
My favorite season in the northeast is: I love them all but Winter is my number one because I love Christmas and getting snowed in.
I admit I’m a big softy when it comes to: almost everything.
My greatest influence is: My mom.
My favorite books are: Always changing but some current favorites are The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver, Bright Dead Things by Ada Limon, Foreign Tales of Exemplum and Woe by J.C. Ellefson, The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach, and Cannery Row by John Steinbeck.
My favorite quote is:
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you've got to be kind." ~Kurt Vonnegut
