Prescription Drug Benefit

Your GeoBlue insurance includes a prescription drug benefit. It allows students and scholarship to a one-month supply of covered prescription drugs at a participating pharmacy. A small co-pay of $10 for generic drugs and $20 for brand drugs is required.  The co-pay is the amount you pay the pharmacy.  GeoBlue insurance pays the pharmacy the remaining cost. To locate a participating pharmacy, go to Almost all national pharmacy chains and a large number of local pharmacies participate with your company. In Binghamton, that includes CVS, Rite-Aid, Walgreen’s, Wegman’s, Wal-Mart and Target pharmacies plus others.

If you try to purchase prescription drugs without your GeoBlue ID card you will have to pay the entire cost of the drug at the time of purchase and then submit a claim to GeoBlue Insurance to receive reimbursement.

Covered dependents on your policy are also covered by the prescription drug plan.
