Required KnowBe4 Training For All Students, Faculty and Staff
Beginning October 28, 2019 Binghamton University Faculty and Staff were sent notification emails to perform the required annual Cyber Security Awareness training using Binghamton University’s KnowBe4 platform. Training can be accessed by logging into the MyBinghamton Portal and clicking on the KnowBe4 button on the left menu. Users will have one month to complete the annual training. Training can be completed in approximately fifteen minutes.
This training is intended to educate users on how to detect potential threats and phishing attempts and to learn new methods of protecting your personal and organizational data. It not only helps to avoid phishing and email hoaxes, it's very informative and all modules must be completed in order to receive a training certificate. Modules include short video presentations, along with a brief quiz.
