Technology Changes for Students - Fall 2018

Staff members in Information Technology Services (ITS) announce the following changes to campus wireless, student printing and access to Office 365. Please review and take action on these changes listed below. Eduroam -

Over the summer ITS started migrating to Eduroam from BUSecure. When connecting your devices to the WiFi network, connect to Eduroam by running JoinNow at wireless.binghamton.edu.


Student Printing - Print@Binghamton

ITS updated the student printing system over the summer. In addition to printing in computer labs, the new printing system allows students to print by emailing print@binghamton.edu and using web print.

To release print jobs in your print queue, visit a student printer in an ITS computer lab and wave your ID card over the black ID card reader.

Office 365 Login Change - Over the summer ITS changed how users log into Office 365 so that it uses the same username and password as other campus systems.

When logging into Office 365 you will use your email address (username@binghamton.edu) and your Computer Account/PODS password and not your unique Microsoft user account.

Access to Office 365 is available for all current students, faculty and staff. You will continue to have access until six months after you graduate.
