The Annex, located in Conklin NY, is Binghamton University's library storage facility. Established in 1999, we have nearly 800,000 items in our collections. We hold vinyl, journals, magazines, novels, and more.
Instead of organizing by call number or subject, our Annex staff sort the collections by size, using a method called High Density Storage. The Annex is combination of a library and a warehouse. You can request one of our items, or make an appointment to look at it, but we have to pull it for you first.
If you would like to visit the Annex, please send a message to annex@binghamton.edu at least twenty four hours before you arrive. We are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. We deliver physical items once a day, to the different University Libraries, and we process digital scan requests throughout the work day.
