Digital Preservation

Binghamton University Libraries' Rosetta system can store and preserve items in a dark archive, restricted access, or as publicly accessible documents. Items can be searched in Find It! discovery system (just limit to "Local Digital Collections" if you only want to see digital materials). Publicly available collections include items from the Libraries' Special Collections and University Archives, Capstone projects completed by students enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program at Binghamton University's College of Community and Public Affairs, Binghamton University Photographs, Inside BU magazine, and the daily Dateline newsletter.

For more information about Rosetta at Binghamton University Libraries, contact Erin Rushton, Head of Digital Initiatives and Resource Discovery. If you are a faculty member at Binghamton University and are interested in partnering with the Libraries to preserve digital content, please contact your subject librarian. If you are unsure which subject librarian to contact, please contact Erin Rushton or Elizabeth Brown, Scholarly Communications Officer, and they will put you in touch with the appropriate librarian.
