Men’s tennis alum Michael Lane ‘89 gives back to program

Former men’s tennis student-athlete Michael Lane ‘89 extended his support of Binghamton University and the Athletics Department with a substantial gift presented at a ceremony on October 5 at the Events Center.

Wrestling celebrates 50 years

Binghamton wrestling kicked off a celebration of 50 years in November, with a reunion back on campus.

Wrestling captures Alumni Giving Challenge

The Binghamton wrestling team was recognized at the Homecoming Tailgate as one of the winners of the 2018 Athletics Alumni Giving Challenge. The team with the most donations and/or the highest percentage of donations at the end of the challenge was given a gift of $5,000 towards their program.

This year, men’s lacrosse was honored for highest percentage of alumni participation and wrestling was recognized for having the highest number of donors (131 total) among all Binghamton Athletics programs.

Hall of Fame welcomes Class of 2018

The Binghamton Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2018 was formally inducted in a ceremony Dec. 8, at the Events Center. Honored were wrestler Josh Ruff ‘05, golfer Jeff Wolniewicz ‘07 and baseball player Corey Taylor ‘11, along with the 1992-93 golf team. They were joined by a gathering of more than 100 friends and family in the TAU Bearcat Room.
