Increased mentoring opportunities for students

During the fall semester, the Alumni Association began to implement the Binghamton University Mentoring Program. This online platform matches students with alumni who work in their field of interest. Students and alumni begin their communication online, and could opt to continue their conversations by phone or in person. Harpur Edge had been using the platform prior to this academic year. The Alumni Association will eventually offer this to any student regardless of school or major, with the goal of having at least 500 participants by the end of the year.
