Season of giving, gratitude

The Binghamton University campus community ushered in the season of giving and gratitude with special events and initiatives connected to National Philanthropy Day, Nov. 15, Giving Tuesday, Nov. 27, and end-of-year giving. Everyone was encouraged to give first to support Binghamton, with thanks given to donors for all that their support makes possible across campus.

The Student Philanthropy Committee, for example, tabled in the MarketPlace on National Philanthropy Day to collect thank-you notes from students to donors. The Binghamton Fund’s year-end digital messaging to past and prospective donors encouraged people to “Share the Love” and make charitable gifts to enhance educational opportunities at Binghamton.
