Fleishman Center pilots industry-specific job and internship fairs this spring

This spring, the Fleishman Center piloted several smaller, industry-specific job and internship fairs after hearing feedback from both students and employers who wished for a more industry-focused environment. Through taking advantage of a smaller venue and the unique recruiting patterns of the spring semester, students have the opportunity to make more personal connections specifically related to their fields of interest. So far, the pilot has been a success with nearly 950 students attending the STEM Fair, over 350 attending the Business and Communications Fair and 310 attending the University’s first Student Employment and Summer Opportunities Fair. A Common Good, Government, Non-Profit and Summer Camps Fair was held March 28, attended by nearly 320 students, and a Nursing Fair will be held later in the semester. View the fair dates and the list of attending organizations online.
